Flight Plan Prices
These prices below are for the tandem paragliding flight only. There is always one passenger and one pilot per flight. When you contact me, please tell me exactly: the 1) number of persons, 2) weight including clothes, 3) the flight plan, and the 4) possible dates and available times (in case of bad weather).
The closer we are to the date, the more accurate the forecast will be and anything more than 2-3 days is fiction. Flight preparation time depends on the local wind conditions, which is not accurate by forecast, so the below times are estimates only, as launches can be delayed until we have a good launch window. There is a nice Swiss mountain restaurant up top at the mountain, where we can meet, have lunch, and perhaps you can even go hiking before taking the flight. That will take full advantage of the Swiss mountain experience for your buck.
You should ALWAYS carry cash in Swiss Franc to the mountains. Your mobile internet connectivity will make everything much more easier, please organize it if you can. Payments are in CHF, because the bank already refused me the foreign notes because of ridiculous reasons like pen marks, imperfections, or older bills. Credit cards are accepted, but will cost you 3.5% for processing fees and I don’t see the point to feed the bankers. Most of us professional pilots fly to share our passion and don’t earn much. Big restaurants, trains and big cable cars usually take many credit cards, but buses and smaller businesses will often only take Swiss Franc cash. Without purchases, some establishments may even refuse you their toilets!
May be you find yourself flying only once or a few times on a paraglider in your lifetime, so you can go for 30 minute or longer experience, whenever the weather is good.

Expect to be occupied for 1.5 hours to go up the mountain, flight preparation and flight. This is the shortest flight experience we offer, available in the Winter season only from a lower mountain like Zugerberg, Zug or Uetliberg, Zurich. An intense up to 8 minutes flight that requires 100% of your intense attention.

About 15min
Expect to be occupied about 1.5 hours for going up the mountain and flight preparation. Flight time is usually about 15 min depending on the weather. It may feel long for the virgin experience, because of the intense quality of your attention. This is the shortest flight available in the Alps! Closest Alps site Rotenflue, Schwyz is about 1.3 hour travel by public transport from Zurich. Economy Plus flight in Uetliberg is only possible with moderate East wind.

Expect to be occupied for almost 2 hours. Flight time about 30 min and requires good thermal flying conditions. This flight is recommended for your first flight. You will be charged only for the shorter flight duration if the flight is shorter. For Premium flights, Rotenflue, Schwyz is the closest Alps flying site from Zurich HB mainstation and is about 1.3 hour by public transport. Premium flights in Uetliberg is only possible with moderate East wind. If you have a car, many other locations are faster to reach.

Expect to be occupied about 2 hours. Flight time is about 60 min and requires excellent thermal flying conditions, thus rather rare. If the flight is shorter, you will be charged only for the shorter flight duration. For Premium Plus flights, Rotenflue, Schwyz is the closest Alps flying site closest from Zurich HB about 1.25h by public transport. Premium Plus flights in Uetliberg is only possible with moderate East wind. There are many great long distance spots such as Engelberg, Titlis, and Grindelwald. Time flies when you are having fun!

When XC flying, i.e. long distances, you need the whole day and choose a good start location. Launching on a good flying day, starting from near a chain of mountains, one can fly many tens of km making restaurant stops on the way. The day should be chosen carefully to allow long flights so flexibility is paramount.

KAIZEN - Our Philosophy on Safety
How do we choose our professional pilots? Acro pilots have an astronaut like mindset to always keep learning, train to be calm in chaotic situations that would shake most pilots to freeze or over-react. The fact is that weather forecast is a guide, not the reality. Local winds are even more unpredictable, especially in the Alps because of the high elevation and sharp angles. A difference of ten meters in location can make a wind speed difference of tens of km/h because of merging winds, terrain, differential sun exposure, humidity and more.
The bigger the ego, the more one resists to humble oneself. Under stress of turbulence, many pilots may try to blame the other pilots, blame the weather, the launch place, the mountain, blame anything they can. Mother nature is unpredictable and forcing your wing to fight against nature is futile.
So what can we do? Many people are not willing to making the efforts to sharpen their skills in good conditions, out of fear and out of lack of passion. There is a similarity between car drivers who do not have the skills to cope with wet icy situations, but they all believe they drive very well and drive aggressively, honk and yell at other drivers.
It’s human to prefer the familiar, to stay in one’s comfort zone, so they don’t bruise their ego. So, it is very difficult to find pilots who keeps their cool, regularly training for extreme maneuvers, and living with the unknown. This kind of training requires a deep respect of nature’s immense power, a humble mindset to stay alive, and the passion to always improve which is Kaizen. In my view, when an acro pilot flies with a passenger, their competence make them probably the safest among tandem pilots.
